Frequently Asked Questions

Everything families ask us before booking a consultation — answered up front.

Are your caregivers licensed/insured/bonded?

Neybr is applying for a Virginia Home Care Organization license, required for all non-medical in-home care providers in the state. We carry general liability and professional liability insurance, including abuse/molestation coverage. All caregivers are W-2 employees (not contractors), background-checked, and bonded before they ever visit a client's home. Our license number will be added here and to our footer once the application is approved.

Will I always see the same caregiver?

Yes — this is the core of how Neybr works. Each client is assigned a small, named care pod, typically 1–2 caregivers, who handle every visit. Unlike larger agencies that schedule from a big rotating pool based on availability, we don't send a different stranger each time.

What areas do you serve?

Neybr currently serves Arlington and Falls Church City, Virginia, including the Clarendon, Lyon Village, and Cherrydale neighborhoods. We're built to expand to more of Northern Virginia as we grow.

How much does it cost and how does billing work?

Pricing starts at $69 for a single 30-minute visit, with no subscription required. Ongoing plans range from the $249/mo Check-In Bundle up to $599/mo for our Tier 2 Companion plan. All subscription plans bill monthly to a card on file with auto-renewal — no surprise hourly charges. See our full pricing page for details.

How do I get started?

Fill out the form on our Contact page or call us directly. We'll schedule a free 30-minute family consultation, recommend a plan based on your situation, and most new clients start with a 2-week trial before committing to a monthly subscription.

What happens if my regular caregiver is unavailable?

That's exactly what our Reliability Guarantee covers: if your scheduled team member can't make a visit, we dispatch a qualified backup from our on-call pool within 2 hours — or that visit is credited to your next month, free of charge.
